The OPL Group is one of the UK’s leading independent distributors & service providers of commercial laundry equipment and expanding their service team. We supply a complete solution to all sectors of the market from private landlords, major hotels, health & beauty, equestrian to premier Football Clubs. This includes supplying equipment, installation, service, and maintenance packages. Due to our success in the laundry market, we have added specialist divisions that supply chemical auto dosing systems and ozone laundry technology as well as assisting with commercial catering equipment requirements.

You would be based at our NW London industrial premises and be a valued part of the service team. This is our front line and image of our company delivering high quality service and being an ambassador to our proud customer base. You will be required to attend field service calls, diagnose, repair and report on findings on laundry and catering equipment in and around London & Southeast. You will also recondition and install equipment as part of the daily requirements.

Wages assessed on experience and qualifications. We will consider any applicant that can demonstrate skills that the role requires. Commercial laundry equipment experience and gas or electrical qualifications advantageous. Duties include:

• Attending to service calls, diagnosing, repairing, and reporting on faults
• Identifying and reporting machine & install conditions and recommendations
• Checking & commissioning equipment installations
• Carrying out basic installations of equipment / dosing / ozone systems
• Preparing and testing ex-rental equipment ready to be supplied
• Routine maintenance visits to check equipment where required
• Maintaining van stock control and updating Salesforce inventory

For this role we are looking for people who meet the following criteria:

• Mechanical & electrical experience (Gas Safe preferred but not essential)
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Good written and verbal skills
• Personable and professional
• Ability to work under own initiative and time management
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good work ethic and enthusiasm with pride in all that they do
• Drive and integrity
• Full UK (clean) driving license
